This is your sign to become a turtle scientist 🐢 On this #WorldTurtleDay, we are highlighting an exciting way to help monitor turtles using nothing but your phone! 📱 The Ontario Turtle Tally project is free to join on iNaturalist, an online platform for Community Science. By adding observations of turtles from anywhere in the province, you can help your Toronto Zoo’s Field Conservation team monitor populations and work with partners to support conservation actions. By participating in Community Science, you can support your Toronto Zoo's species pledge to #ReverseTheRed for the Blanding’s turtle, which we are working to protect alongside our partners at nwmocanada and reverse.the.red.
