CHANEL BRINGS MÉTIERS D’ART 2026 TO SEOUL
Inside Seoul’s Centre Pompidou Hanwha, CHANEL unveiled its Métiers d’art 2026 collection ahead of the institution’s official opening, becoming the first fashion house to stage a runway show within the space. The presentation marked Matthieu Blazy’s debut Métiers d’art chapter for the maison, placing craftsmanship and atelier savoir-faire at the core of the evening.
First shown in New York, the collection merged sharp tweed tailoring, elaborate embroidery and glossy dark textures with a more modern, urban attitude. Set against the raw architecture of the venue, the runway emphasised precision over spectacle, reaffirming the importance of CHANEL’s artisanal ateliers.
Hyunji Shin opened the show, while Choi Sora closed the finale. Bhavitha Mandava also appeared in the cast, alongside guests including Jennie, Tilda Swinton and Park Seo-joon.
