Here at Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital, we care for more than 600 patients recovering from stroke every year and our intensive stroke recovery rehab program is certified and accredited. When stroke patients arrive for an inpatient stay, the main focus is on restoring mobility. Our stroke recovery rehab patients participate in customized intensive rehabilitation therapy that includes occupational, physical and speech therapy. Our patients are also offered other services such as stroke support group, stroke education, recreational therapy, music therapy and art therapy.
