⛰️ Climbers Oliver Foran and @cameramanstan_ were moving through Camp 1 on a rotation up Everest when a large avalanche released off the Lhotse Face and swept over their position. The powder cloud in the footage rolls across the flat glacier below in seconds. Both walked away without injuries and continued up to Camp 2 afterward. Large avalanche cycles on the Lhotse Face are a known hazard on the standard South Col route, particularly during heavy snowfall periods. #everest #mountaineering #trial (Via @oliverforan)
