โข ariansimone Today is World ๐ Africa Day and as an African Queen it brings my great honor to share our heritage and culture on full display with the photos from our Royal Wedding Week (see previous post).
My engagement ceremonial dress was Kente. In the rich traditions of both Ghana and Coฬte dโIvoire, Kente is far more than a mere fabric; it is the cloth of the Royal House. Each intricate thread is hand-woven to document a story of philosophy, history, and the enduring strength of our lineage.
The Kente in my dress communicates through a vibrant language of color. Gold and yellow symbolize royalty, wealth, and spiritual purity, while green signifies growth and the vitality of the land, red stands for blood, strength, passion and orange represents joy!
My crown is carefully and meaningfully crafted with Adinkra symbols.
