One thing people have to understand is that having a spiritual experience isn’t the same thing as creating real change.
Real work is rarely glamorous.
It’s not Instagrammable.
It’s not some cinematic breakthrough moment you can turn into a motivational reel.
Real work is repetitive. It’s uncomfortable. It takes time.
It’s sitting alone with yourself long enough to realise your behaviours aren’t random. Your patterns come from somewhere. Your reactions come from somewhere. Your coping mechanisms come from somewhere.
And if you truly want to change, you have to be willing to confront the parts of yourself you’ve spent years avoiding.
That means facing memories you don’t want to revisit.
Feeling emotions you’ve been numbing.
Questioning the identity you’ve built around your pain.
Looking directly at the wounds driving your addictions, attachments, anger, insecurity, avoidance, or self-destruction.
A spiritual experience can open the door.
But it won’t walk you through it.
