Lower Cedar Creek Falls near Mackay is a short hike with a pretty unique payoff. The water doesn’t fall from above, it comes straight out of the canyon wall. Making it a “hole-in-the-rock” waterfall. The trail is about 3 miles round trip with a gradual climb through the canyon. Late spring and early summer are when the waterfall is flowing the strongest, but it’s a great Idaho hike most of the season.
