I didn’t tell many people I signed up for this. No big announcement. No pressure. No expectations. Just something I wanted to do for me. Race day came and it was freezing, pouring rain, and honestly… there were a lot of moments I could’ve quit. No one would’ve known. No one was waiting for me at the finish line. But that’s kind of the point. Sometimes the most important goals are the ones no one sees. The ones you show up for quietly. The ones that remind you what you’re capable of when it’s just you vs. you. I met new people. I pushed myself. I achieved my goal. And it reminded me… we need to do this more. Try new things.
