Now, a federal judge has ruled that the action was illegal and ordered Trump’s name to be removed. ____________________________________ According to apnews, U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper made the ruling on Friday. Judge Cooper also ruled that the board’s vote to close the venue for renovations was “ill-informed and seemingly preordained” with no regard for its legal obligations. Renovations were set to begin in July, leaving the center closed for two years. ____________________________________ Judge Cooper said, “The trustees might have assessed the propriety of closure in a number of prudent ways.
