Not all scars can be camouflaged 🤷🏼‍♀️ One of the most common questions I get is: ”Can you tattoo over my scar and make it disappear?” The answer depends on the type of scar. ✅ Hypertrophic scars can often be improved and eventually camouflaged. These scars are raised, firm, and sometimes pink or red, but they stay within the boundaries of the original injury. Before we ever add pigment, my goal is to improve the texture of the scar first. Over a series of treatments, we create controlled micro-injuries that stimulate collagen remodeling and help soften, flatten, and improve the appearance of the scar.
