Please join us in congratulating Deputy Gil who recently completed the field training program and is ready to “Rollout” to solo patrol in Thousand Oaks! Prior to law enforcement, Deputy Gil attended College of the Canyons where he received his associates degree in Administration of Justice. Deputy Gil attended the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Academy Class #458 before lateraling to VCSO in 2023. Deputy Gil was assigned to the Todd Road Jail prior to transferring to Thousand Oaks Patrol. Also pictured is Senior Deputy McCarthy who was assigned as Deputy Gil’s primary field training officer.
