Sublime, Slam Dunk Festival 2026 LIVE REVIEW: It’s almost like something, or someone, is out there watching over Sublime as they take to the stage for their first ever appearance in the UK. Because everything about the atmosphere of this moment feels all too fitting for who they are as a band. The sun slowly starting to mellow out and lightly bake the Slam Dunk grounds in a golden hue feels quintessentially South Californian, allowing the trios’ hazy, pulsating, life-affirming sounds to feel perfectly at home, despite being thousands of miles away. Jakob Nowell has taken on the role of fronting the band in his stride and then some, which is no mean feat considering what it entails, physically and emotionally.
