"Supernova" 2026 Damien Hirst and Jack White III. "In the tradition of Eames bent plywood chairs being upholstered in pony skin (see photo) I had a concept of upholstering a black DCW with one of Damien's splatter painted leather hides that he had sent me to work with. After sanding, gluing, and trimming the leather hide, I also coated the painting with epoxy to protect it so that it can be a functioning piece of usable furniture. As Le Corbusier stated "A chair is a machine for sitting in."
