Last night, Film Independent proudly celebrated #AANHPI Heritage Month at our HQ with the incredible Kelly Marie Tran as our host. ✨ A special thank you to Host Committee Chair and champion Alex De Ocampo, along with Host Committee members Jess Wu Calder, Chris Quintos Cathcart, Emily Liu Foy, Jason Delane Lee and Yvonne Huff Lee, Ramya Ravi and Mark Skidmore. We were also thrilled to announce the inaugural 191 Fellowship, which will provide a $10K grant to a South Asian or South Asian American filmmaker participating in a Film Independent Artist Development program.
