Class of 2026 grad Ryan Morneau finished his time at JMU as the nation’s No. 1 collegiate pickleball player, earning the sport’s first collegiate singles national championship along the way. A finance major with a minor in mathematics, he matched that success in the classroom, building on his passion for business through the competitive Madison Investment Fund. By embracing challenges both on the court and in finance, Morneau helped grow jmupickleball through sponsorships and national exposure. This culminated in a sponsor-funded documentary that followed the team to nationals, where JMU brought more players than any other school.
