The cityofkilleen hosted its 79th annual rodeo May 14-16 at the Killeen Rodeo Grounds Arena, opening up their gates May 14 to welcome the military and their families for the rodeo’s Military Appreciation Night. In previous years, Military Appreciation Night has welcomed active-duty troops, veterans and dependents for an evening honoring their service while introducing many first-time attendees to rodeo culture. The event was hosted by the prca_prorodeo and provided rodeo action, family entertainment and Western tradition to the city.
