TRICOLOUR TAKEOVER Friday night's CFL pre-season tilt between the Calgary Stampeders and Edmonton Elks will have a Queen's feel to it, with six Queen's Football alumni set to suit up. Steven Kpehe (Kinesiology) and Ashton Miller-Melancon (Miller-Melancon) will be wearing the Red & White of the Stampeders, facing Silas Hubert (Environmental Studies), Olivier Muembi (History), Darien Newell (Philosophy), and Justin Pace (Economics) in the Green & Gold of the Elks. Kpehe talked to the Queen's Journal about the matchup: "That is honestly so cool. Silas Hubert and Darren Newell, obviously brothers on the D-line with me, so that's going to be quite the matchup. And Justin Pace was my Mike linebacker. Once again, one of my close friends, great dude. It's going to be cool. We're all fierce competitors; we all have that drive. I'm stoked going in this game.
