Portland’s Burnside Bridge turned 100 years old on Thursday, and its operators at Multnomah County are closing it to all traffic Saturday for an afternoon party. The entire surface of the bridge will be reserved for pedestrians taking part in the Burnside Bridge Centennial Celebration, which runs from noon to 5 p.m., but traffic will be impacted for longer than that.
