The Abstract 👁️: Episode One — The Awakening As always, the idea started with me. I wanted to test everything I’ve been learning about film, editing, cinematography, world-building, and AI production — so I decided to make my first short film. This piece was built through a mix of AI tools and hands-on creative direction. I used invideo Agent One to help structure and build the film, ElevenLabs for voice work using my original phone-recorded voice memos, and other AI motion tools to bring the visuals to life. I also used ElevenLabs to score each segment of the film with specific time lengths, so the audio could match the pacing and emotion of each scene. On top of that, I created custom sound effects and layered them in post to give the world more texture, movement, and atmosphere. But before any of that happened, I wrote the script.
