Gladys Esmeralda Jaggers works with the Guadalupe Centers in Kansas City bridging the digital divide. She’s a member of this year’s Digital Inclusion Fellowship Program that GFiber sponsors with NTEN. Gladys says, "My intentionality has always been to think back to my experiences growing up as a child who had immigrant parents. It's like I was that child who had to translate and interpret for my mother." About her work: - Gladys launched a dual-language digital literacy program that expanded to include online banking, telehealth logins, and bill payments. - The program cultivated partnerships with governmental agencies, educational institutions, unions, and private sector organizations. Thanks for all the incredible work you do, Gladys!
