Writing about grief is such a magical tool. Not because it removes the pain. But because it gives the pain somewhere to go. So many grieving people carry everything silently: the memories, the guilt, the anger, the love, the things left unsaid. And over time, it becomes heavy. Like holding your breath emotionally for months or years. But writing changes something. The moment you put grief into words, it stops spinning endlessly inside your head for a second. It becomes visible. Touchable. Understandable. Sometimes I think writing is one of the few places where grieving people can be completely honest. On paper, you can admit: “I’m angry.” “I’m terrified.” “I miss them more today than the day they died.” “I don’t know who I am anymore.” And somehow… the page holds it without judgment.
