Buckeye’s growth is moving fast — but this new project is raising a bigger question about who all this growth is actually being built for.
A $270 million rental-only community called Coyote Crest is planned near Roosevelt Street and Rainbow Road, with 901 total units across apartments, townhome-style rentals, and detached build-to-rent cottages.
As currently planned, there would be zero homes for sale inside the community.
For some people, that means more housing options in one of Arizona’s fastest-growing cities. For others, it’s another sign that homeownership in the Valley is getting pushed further out of reach.
Is this smart growth for Buckeye — or are too many new communities being built just for renters? 👇
