A rare series of bobcat attacks in the Prescott area came to an end after a German Shepherd stepped in to protect its owner, according to officials. The incidents happened across the Prescott area, where authorities said a bobcat believed to be connected to multiple attacks on people and pets was eventually stopped during an encounter involving the dog. At least three people were reportedly injured in separate attacks over a short period of time. Officials said situations like this are extremely rare, but still urged people in the area to stay alert around wildlife. The German Shepherd that intervened was also injured and was receiving care.
