Robinhood just made one of the boldest moves yet in the race toward autonomous AI systems. The company announced that users can now connect AI agents directly to Robinhood accounts, allowing those agents to trade stocks and even make credit card purchases autonomously. This is much bigger than a simple AI feature rollout. It marks the early arrival of agentic finance, where intelligent software systems begin operating independently inside real financial markets and consumer economies. Users can create separate AI trading accounts with limited funds, monitor live activity feeds, receive push notifications, and instantly disconnect the agent if needed.
