Before we build the fun side of AI, we need to talk about the foundation. Leadership in an AI era is not only about innovation. It is about responsibility. Infrastructure is becoming a basic human right. Ethical AI cannot live only in boardrooms, private companies, or policy documents. It needs to reach governments, teachers, parliament members, public sector leaders, young people, and communities across our continent. Because AI will shape how Africa creates, produces, connects, trades, learns, and leads. The private sector has already started moving. Now the question is: how do we equip the public sector and the leaders of today and tomorrow with the right tools, guardrails, security awareness, and change management to build responsibly?
