This morning I found myself thinking about the kind of Africa I want to help build. Not the Africa we only speak about in speeches or celebrate in beautiful pictures, but the Africa where young people are seen, women are protected, small businesses are supported, and every person is reminded that their life has worth. Did you know that today is Africa Day? For me, Africa Day is more than pride. It is a reminder of responsibility. A reminder that our history matters, but so does what we choose to build next. So today, let’s not only celebrate Africa. Let’s serve her. Let’s protect her people. Let’s create opportunities. Let’s build with courage, dignity and purpose. Because moments do not change lives.
