Results aren’t one size fits all. Which is why we conducted additional clinical testing on Deliverance, specifically on people with Fitzpatrick skin types IV-VI, typically under-represented in industry, to ensure product efficacy across deeper skin tones. There’s many reasons we don’t always see testing across all skin tones. Firstly, racism. There’s no other way to put it. Brands and clinicians don’t always see the value in representing larger populations. Secondly, cost! Many labs consider testing on darker skin tones a “premium” service and they aren’t willing to pay more for it.
