The “Payam Method” is a new way to teach piano focused on fun and personalization. Bill Whitaker says it’s a far cry from the rigid way he learned piano with endless scales and strict adherence to classical repertoire. "The nice thing is since we don't follow a specific book, and we get to personalize it for the student,” says Payam Khastkhodaei, creator of the “Payam Method.” “A student age four might like nursery rhyme songs. And we teach them those. By the time they're six or seven, they've outgrown that. And now they're playing songs from movies,” he says. #piano #pianolesson #pianoplayer
