I recently visited Nairobi, Kenya and had the amazing blessing to meet @thoswall & @solarkevvo, Co-Founders of @ifwebuildit_org Thom and Kevin care deeply about the younger generation in Kenya and have the vision of bringing baseball/softball to millions of kids! Their charity and passion shine through in all they do. I’m honored to call them friends. If We Build It is a non profit that helps provide and build playing fields for softball and baseball players in Kenya. Through partnership with @discoverjkuat and generous contributions of money and labor, the Field of Dreams was built in Nairobi! Baseball has blessed me with so much in my life and teaches tremendous lessons that benefit youth physically, emotionally, and socially.
