I get to call this my career because of the relationships I build along the way. Part of the hustle is sending cold messages in hopes of starting a conversation that eventually leads to an opportunity. My relationship with SMU came from a cold email I sent to Lauren last fall about shooting for them at a tourney in NC. Over the rest of the school year, I was fortunate to work with them several more times, including at the ACC Championship where they finished runner up to this year’s National Champions, Stanford. As a freelancer, it’s exciting to have a team to follow and cheer for, even if I’m not at every tourney. I’m stoked to see Mack and Barb take on pro golf, and hopefully run it back with the Stangs next fall 🐎🫶
