Silicone molds are incredibly useful but a bit intimidating to learn how to make. I hope this quick tutorial helps and check out more info below ⬇️
• READ THE DIRECTIONS for the silicone you are using! All brands are different. I am using silicone rubber from Unicorn Art.
• Your room needs to be around 75F (24C) for the silicone to cure properly.
• Most silicones have a work time of 30 minutes to 1 hour before they start curing.
• Use rubbing alcohol to remove uncured silicone from any tools or skin.
• Vacuum chambers can be used to remove bubbles but I don’t recommend getting one until you know you like making molds.
I am using one from resiners_official - Please use the link in my bio! (I am an affiliate) if you buy it! And use code: BRIANCA for 15% off!
• Silicone molds can be scratched easily, don’t use anything sharp in them and store them in a closed container.
• Use soap and water to clean your molds or tape to remove hair and dust.
