Jamie Richardson, 32, and Richard Thiedeman, 34, chose to skip the queue, as they just wanted to touch the summit and head back down. Richard said "When I'm wearing a T-shirt that you can see what this person's hiking for... surely anybody at the summit of a mountain deserves a cheer and a well done?"
