🚨 Basketball England Awards! With Abby's kind permission (we didn't want to blast this out without asking and Abby isn't one for the spotlight), but now we can rightly and publicly share across the RaiderVerse that the much loved, local basketball superstar/supermum and real life role model that is Abby Chu won the "Inspiring Female of The Year" award at the BE ceremony this past week. We absolutely needed you all to know about it, because it's pretty darn special!! Abby dedicates herself wholeheartedly to the game, the club and her teammates on the WNBL Raiders Marjon squad. We can't think of a more deserving winner and we're so delighted for her. Abby is a real unsung hero not just for the women's team and her work behind the scenes, the coaching and everything else she finds time for, but Plymouth sport as a whole and a real champion for the game.
