One of our favorite things is drawing attention to area youth teams and their accomplishments. Fort Wayne Football Club and Masters Heating & Cooling were proud to acknowledge the Towles Middle School boys soccer team as the Team of the Match. The team, coached by Mario Meraz, was honored at our match Wednesday at Ruoff Mortgage Stadium. The Towles team recently finished its season with a trip to the city championship game for the first time in school history. They also had their first ever winning record and their first ever No. 1 seed.
