According to the person who recorded the video, the individual was allegedly discovered inside a stall and fled after being confronted. The woman filming can be heard claiming this was the third time a similar incident had occurred, however Shottawa has not independently verified that claim. Rideau Centre is one of Ottawa’s busiest malls, located in the heart of downtown and visited by thousands of people every day. The shopping centre is also located near major public services, including a nearby Ottawa Police Service facility.
