Did you know that more than 2.5 million acres of privately owned land sit inside America's national parks? 🌲 This land is home to habitat, history, and other treasured resources. For more than 40 years, the Park Trust has worked alongside the NationalParkService to acquire these parcels and transfer them into permanent protection. So far we’ve completed 74 land and brought 57 national park units closer to becoming whole. The work continues because the missing pieces are still out there.
