Three new vaccines are currently being developed to tackle a rare strain of Ebola that has killed nearly 250 people. Global health organization CEPI will give roughly $60 million to Moderna MRNA.O and to two other groups to accelerate the development of vaccines against the Bundibugyo strain. According to the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization, the outbreak has led to 282 confirmed cases and 42 deaths, alongside roughly 1,100 suspected cases. #ebola #vaccines #news #africa
