It’s the week before finals so we always try to make meals that our kids love and feel their brains!
Traditionally, we have always used short rib meat, but we were craving Korean BBQ and already had Chuck Roast in the fridge so we sliced it thin and it worked out great!
The kimchi was some of the best we’ve ever had!
Korean Kalbi Marinade for 4 lbs
• ½ cup soy sauce
• 4 Tbsp sesame oil
• 4 Tbsp sugar
• 1 apple
• 1 Asian pear
• 1 onion
• 4 scallions
• 4 garlic cloves
• 2 Tbsp sesame seeds
Blend all. Marinate 4 lbs short ribs overnight. Grill until caramelized.
For the Korean pancake, I highly recommend getting the pancake mix from your local Asian market or ordering it on Amazon. It is definitely worth it, and you can add anything diced vegetables you want into it, seafood is a common edition and it’s so quick to make! The onion ring trick is an added flavor boost!
