This week in Highlighting our Grogan Alumni, we have Jaear McClendon! Jaer is a first-year graduate student at UNCG pursuing a Master's degree in Public Affairs. As an MPA student, he is also seen working as an assistant in the Political Science Department at the graduate school. “My time at Grogan would be considered the foundational years of my college career. The advice and education I received while living in Grogan served as a springboard for my future educational activities. When I think back on the small classroom environment, I realize that the presentations, projects, and interviews we were asked to conduct are some of the same assignments and skills that I have had to reinforce in graduate school. Having the opportunity to benefit from the Grogan Residential College experience prepared me to be a successful college student” Jaer has been an involved grizzly during his time as a Grogan College student, he has been involved since 2018 and continues to support our community....
