One condition is quietly fueling the rise of heart disease worldwide: the combination of obesity and type 2 diabetes. Researchers now call it *diabesity*. Our students explored how two commonly used drug classes, GLP-1 receptor agonists and SGLT-2 inhibitors, may help reduce cardiovascular inflammation in patients with diabesity. After reviewing 350+ research papers, they synthesized the evidence into a narrative review that is now published in an international journal.
