Huge congrats to our very own Zara! Zara has been a massive part of our starboard side for the last four years, finishing out her senior season in the 4V. As she’s grinds through her favorite Saturday morning practices, she’s given so much to this team. But honestly, some of our favorite Zara moments happened when we weren’t even pulling oars… like the time we got caught in a massive storm running to see the cherry blossoms, and the wind was so crazy it literally looked like it was snowing petals. From spotting a casual family of wild turkeys on Roosevelt Island during a water break, to the legendary tradition of running and jumping off the dock to swim during Spring Training, Zara has been at the center of so many core memories. We’re definitely going to miss seeing her at the Chuckwagon tracking down the Costco chocolate chip cookies.
