“4 years ago, I was uncertain about art as a career path. But I was fortunate enough to meet the right people here at Berkeley. Interning as a content creator for UC Berkeley gave me the experience and confidence to pursue a professional career in creative work. I loved photographing the campanile at sunset and Oski cheering at football games. I loved filming DeCal spotlights, campus life, and even a student who recited 1,600 digits of Pi from memory. Through this work, I’ve discovered what makes Berkeley such a bright landscape of opportunity. Working with an incredibly talented team of interns and managers pushed me to grow and refine my craft. It’s been an honor to help tell the story of the #1 public university through my creative projects. Post-grad, I plan to continue working in photography, filmmaking, and marketing. And one day, I hope to write and direct my own feature films.” - Stanley Luo, B.A. Film & Media and B.A. Economics ’26 #UCBerkeley #CalGrad
