Spent the morning on RightMove finding out I cannot afford to live here 😭 We had a beautiful weekend break the gorgeous Amberley village! If you’re London-based, you need to come here for weekend break! it’s just a 2 hour drive or 2.5 hour train journey from the city, and you’re transported to a little village that’s straight from a romcom movie set. Cute little tea houses, cosy country pubs, a castle & museum, riverside walks, scenic hikes, and everyone says hello to you as you wander around! They have so much locally made food & drink (try the local sparkling wine at blackhorseamberley ) My favourite spots are tagged below, and I made a google maps list with places to stay and other spots to try.
