K-State’s Cyber Pipeline is bridging the digital divide across Kansas! 💻🌾
What started with a simple robotics unit in high school has evolved into a statewide initiative to provide computer science education to both urban and rural schools.
Through the ALT+CS lab, K-State is training teachers with a new graduate certificate and giving them the tools to teach programming, digital literacy and more.
With $1.9 million in funding and partnerships with 104 Kansas school districts (60 rural!), the Cyber Pipeline is ensuring that Kansas students can tap into the power of computer science – no matter their location.
