Canisius High School had two seniors named to the 2025-26 Winter All-Western New York Scholar-Athlete Team: Cole Frederick '26 of Orchard Park (Basketball) Nick Scime '26 of Amherst (Hockey) The team is named by a Section VI committee and is based on senior athletes that are key contributors to the team that also excel in the classroom (minimum 90% cumulative average). Both Frederick and Scime were part of Monsignor Martin Athletic Association championships and both were among the six Mr. Canisius finalists.
