Texas Tech softball pitcher NiJaree Canady shared that softball is not her “ride or die.” For her, faith in Jesus Christ is what matters most. Canady said her ultimate goal is not success on the field, but spending eternity with the Lord Jesus Christ. That perspective allows her to play with freedom, knowing that win or lose, her identity is found in Christ, not in softball. She added that softball is simply a platform God has given her to share that message with others. #christhlete
