At the Clearwater Invitational, we noticed a sign posted inside LSU’s dugout: Effort. Execution. Toughness. Commit. It was positioned where the players would see it, inning after inning. So we asked sophomore standout Tori Edwards what those four words mean to her. She told us: “It’s just kind of like our team’s foundation… those are the things that we call controllable. Every game, no matter what the outcome is, you can give effort and toughness and try your best to execute.
