Nebraska men's basketball coach Fred Hoiberg says he is optimistic about the Huskers' roster as the program prepares to begin summer workouts later this month.
Players are scheduled to arrive in Lincoln over the coming days before medical evaluations begin June 8. Nebraska's first official summer workout is set for June 11.
"I really am excited about what we've got," Hoiberg said. "You fully don't know until you get on the floor with your team."
The Huskers enter the offseason after a historic 2025 campaign that included the program's first NCAA Tournament victory under Hoiberg and a run to the Sweet 16. Nebraska must now replace several key contributors and veteran leaders from that team.
Hoiberg believes the coaching staff addressed several needs through the transfer portal.
