Ottawa’s most iconic spring tradition is back 🌷✨
The Canadian Tulip Festival returns to Commissioners Park at Dow’s Lake, bringing over one million blooms, stunning photo spots, and 74 years of history to the capital.
A few things to know before you go:
🎟️ The festival is completely free to attend
🌙 The gardens are open 24/7, so you can visit during the day or see the blooms in the evening
🌷 Tulips are planted in phases, so there are fresh blooms throughout the festival
📍 Commissioners Park is the main festival site, but there are tulip displays across the city
🐶 Dogs are welcome on leash
🚗 Parking can get busy, so consider taking public transit, biking, walking, grabbing a taxi or rideshare, or making it part of a bigger spring day out with a bus tour or Rideau Canal cruise.
📅 May 8 - 18, 2026. No reservations are required!
