Selma remained Alabama’s fastest shrinking city, a title it’s held for most of the last decade, according to new population estimates released by the U.S. Census Bureau. Once home to nearly 30,000 residents, there are now just 16,000 residents in Selma.
Cities needed to have at least 10,000 residents to qualify for this list.
